Doorward Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) holds as foundational the preeminence of the human person. As such, we value the privacy of individuals who use our website(s), mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). This page (the “Privacy Policy”) lays out our policies and procedures surrounding the collection and handling of information that we gather from visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service (“Users,” “you,” or “your”).

By using the Service, you consent to the privacy practices described in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and is subject to our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meaning given to them in the Terms of Service.

A) INFORMATION WE COLLECT

1) Personal Information You Disclose To Us

While using the Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Information”). Personal Information may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, other contact and demographic information, password and security information, and payment information. All payment information is stored by our payment processor and you should review their privacy policies and contact them directly with any questions. You may provide us with Personal Information when you register for an Account, use the Service, make a purchase on the Service, contact customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. All Personal Information that you provide to us must be true, complete and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

2) Information Automatically collected

We collect information about how you access and interact with the Service, such as device type, IP address, operating system, browser type, referring URLs, activity on our website, device ID, access dates and times, location information, and other system activity. We may collect certain information by automated means using technologies such as cookies, web beacons, pixels, browser analysis tools, server logs, and mobile identifiers. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

3) Information Collected from Mobile Application

When you use our mobile application, we may request access or permission to and track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using the application, to provide location-based services. We may also request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device’s camera, storage, photos, and other features. Additionally, we may request to send you push notifications regarding your Account or the application. If you wish to change our access or permissions or opt-out from receiving push-notifications, you may turn such features off in your device’s settings.

B) HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Except as set forth in this Privacy Policy, we do not share Personal Information with third-parties.

1) Provide, Maintain, and Improve the Service

Having accurate information about you permits us to: increase the efficiency and operation of the Services; monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve the Services and your experience; perform the functions and Services you request or authorize; send you confirmations, receipts, updates, alerts, administrative messages, and otherwise facilitate your use of the Services; facilitate the creation and securing of your Account; provide customer service; detect and prevent fraud; operate, protect, and optimize the Service and your experience, such as by performing analytics and conducting research troubleshoot and protect against errors; and develop new features.

2) Sharing Your Information

If you use our Service, you are authorizing us to share information: (1) that you direct us to disclose to others; (2) with our third-party business partners, vendors, and consultants who perform services on our behalf or who help us provide our Services, such as accounting, managerial, technical, marketing, or analytic services; (3) in response to legal process or a request for information, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation or necessary to investigate or remedy potential violation of our policies or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others; (4) we may allow selected third parties to use tracking technology which will enable them to collect information about how you use the Services over time. This information may be used to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, and better understand your online activity; and/or (5) if we reorganize or otherwise transfer part or the whole of our assets to another organization (such as in the course of a merger, dissolution, liquidation), your information may be shared with the transferee; however, we will make reasonable endeavors to require the transferee honor commitments we made in this Privacy Policy. (6) if we believe in good faith that doing so is reasonably necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, our employees, copyright owners, third parties, or the public, including without limitation to protect us or our users from fraudulent, abusive, inappropriate, or unlawful use of our Service; and/or (7) to enforce or apply this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Use, or our other policies or agreements.

The Services may use cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technology depending on the features offered. Tracking technology is useful for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors, and understanding how visitors use the Services. Cookies can also help us customize the Site and improve your experience. When you use the Services, your information is not collected through the use of cookies. However, if you previously provided information, cookies may be tied to such information. Aggregate cookie and tracking information that does not directly identify you may be shared with third parties without your consent. This Privacy Policy in no way restricts or limits our collection and use of aggregate or de-identified information.

You understand that when you use the Services, information you post on interactive public areas of the Services will be available to other users and, in some cases, may be publicly available. We do not have control over content that has been indexed and cashed by search engines, if applicable. If you no longer wish to receive emails or other communications from third parties, you are responsible for contacting the third party directly. Refer to our Terms of Service for more information.

3) Links to Third-Party Sites and Services

The Service may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the practices employed by websites or services linked to or from the Service, nor the information or content provided to or contained therein. Please remember that when you use a link to go from the Service to another website, this Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party websites or services. Your browsing and interaction on any third-party website or service, including those that have a link on our Service, are subject to that third party’s own rules and policies. 4) Retention and Deletion of Personal Data

We retain your Personal Information so long as it serves the purposes listed in this Privacy Policy, including to operate our Services, send you notices other general messages (unless you’ve unsubscribed), to collect and monitor traffic and other usage statistics, to resolve disputes, to enforce the our terms and conditions, and to comply with our legal obligations. You have the right to delete your personal information from our systems. This can be accomplished in the app via the "Deactivate" Button in the User Profile Section in either the mobile or the web application here. Profile > Profile Details > Deactivate > Yes, I'm sure I want to delete my account.

5) Contractor and Other Third-Party Access to Personal Information

We give certain independent contractors access to Personal Information. All those contractors are required to sign contracts in which they promise to protect Personal Information using procedures reasonably similar to ours. (Users are not third party beneficiaries of those contracts.) We also may disclose Personal Information to attorneys, collection agencies, or law enforcement authorities to address potential AUP violations, other contract violations, or illegal behavior. And we disclose any information demanded in a court order or otherwise required by law or to prevent imminent harm to persons or property. Finally, we may share Personal Information in connection with a corporate transaction, like a merger or sale of our company, or a sale of all or substantially all of our assets or of the product or service line you received from us, or a bankruptcy.

C) HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

While we have taken reasonable steps to make the personal information you provide on the Services as secure as possible against unauthorized access, be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Any information disclosed online can potentially be intercepted and used by unauthorized parties. To protect the confidentiality of information maintained in your Account, you must keep your password confidential and not disclose it to any other person. You are responsible for all uses of the Service by any person using your password. Please advise us immediately if you believe your password has been misused. To help ensure security via the internet, we recommend you keep your device up to date with automatic security updates enabled.

D) TRANSFERS OF DATA

Personal Information we collect from you may be stored and processed in any country where we have operations or where we engage service providers. We may transfer your Personal Information to recipients in countries other than the country in which the Personal Information was originally collected, including to the United States, where privacy and data protection laws may differ from the laws of the country where you are a resident. By providing us with your data you acknowledge and agree that your Personal Information may be processed for the purposes identified in this Privacy Policy. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

E) CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, California residents have the right to request and obtain a list of the third parties, if any, to which personal information (as defined by California law) has been disclosed for their direct marketing purposes during the immediately prior calendar year. If you are a California resident and want a copy of this information, please submit a written request to us at the address provided in the Contact section below. In your request, please specify that you are requesting a “Your California Privacy Rights Notice.” Please allow 30 days for a response.

F) PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

We employ a number of data security tools and practices to protect Personal Information. We take reasonable steps to select vendors who make limited and legal use of your Personal Information. Unfortunately, even with these measures, we cannot guarantee the security of Personal Data. By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree that we make no such guarantee, and that you use our Services at your own risk.

G) CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

We do not use the Services to solicit information from or market to children under the age of majority where that person resides. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. If we learn that we have collected the Personal Information of a child under the relevant minimum age without parental consent, we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible. Parents who believe that their child has submitted Personal Information to us and would like to have it deleted may contact us at support@doorward.com.

H) OPTING OUT

You may “opt out” of receiving marketing or promotional emails from us by following the instructions in those emails. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as emails about your Account or our ongoing business relations.

I) AMENDMENT OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to change the provisions of this Privacy Policy at any time. Please revisit this page periodically to stay aware of any changes. If we modify this Privacy Policy, we will make it available through the Service and indicate the date of the latest revision. Your continued use of the Service after the revised Privacy Policy has become effective indicates that you have read, understood, and agreed to the current version of this Privacy Policy.
