Think, social media for real estate but with the tools you need to automate the tasks that take up your time. That means no matter what your role in real estate, we're making sure to reduce the amount of lever pulling you have to do day-to-day.

DOLLAR invested in the Community Chest is given back to Real Estate professionals or community members in need in the form of grants and giveaways to help them grow their businesses or a rent raffle to share the abundance of our community.
No! This is a ONE-TIME investment although, you are free to contribute more into the Community Chest at any time.
When new users join the platform, they are prompted to invest in the Community Chest. This ensures individuals dedicated to growing their professional network do not need to sift through spam posts to grow their business. Once you indicate your level of investment, you get to choose where each dollar invested is spent from a variety of programs.
Users will always have the opportunity to invest in the Community Chest. However, it is not required after the initial investment. Investments in the Community Chest during specific fundraising initiatives will be rewarded with additional features on the platform, so plan accordingly!

CLUBS
Joining a club can offer many great benefits for those aspiring to become real estate investors. Some of these include one-on-one coaching, help finding deals on properties, getting connected with vendors and sponsors as well as networking with likeminded individuals who are capable of sharing knowledge.
When we say club, we mean any number of groups which form an important part of the real estate world and help renters, realtors, contractors, landlords and other vendors navigate this crazy world of ours. Many of the clubs are what are called a Real Estate Investment Club. It can be quite lengthy when typing it out or saying it aloud so you will often see it shortened to REIC or just club - these help individual investors achieve financial success by investing in real estate.
If you find a club that interests you on Doorward, simply request to join the club by clicking "join" and pay your dues. Some clubs have membership fees with benefits included in the price.
Landlords
When a tenant has made a maintenance request, take that request and put it out to bid if the task is too big for your own skillset. You will mark it as complete on the app when all of work has been completed.
When you join the Doorward ecosystem and register as a landlord, all of your properties will be added to your account. Other members in our community such as contractors, tenants or club owners can view them when they visit your profile page.
Collecting rent has never been easier. Connect your Stripe or Plaid account and allow your tenants to set up automatic payments so that you can get on with life while your tenants pay their rent without even having to think about it.
You can easily get in touch with contractors by messaging them through Doorward. If you're looking to reach out to one of your current contacts, or want questions answered about a contractor that might be new on the market, it's easy and effective.
Doorward is your Property Management Ecosystem whereby your mutual connections give you more confidence to enter into business relationships. Doorward also relies on the ratings given by your fellow landlords to provide recommendations of key criteria: timeliness, neatness, reasonableness of rates, completion of desired work. Status points and ranking can also be used as indicators for quality contractors. In short- you don't have to take our word for it.
Contractors
If you find a job that you are interested on bidding on, you simply review the scope of work and enter your bid right in the platform. The property owner will be notified that you've submitted your bid and if you are selected, you'll receive a notification that you've secured the job. It's that easy.
There are two ways that you can find more jobs - You can search for jobs that are open for bid in your area manually and hand select the ones that fit into your pipeline. Alternatively, you can set up alerts so when new jobs are put out to bid, you'll be notified and can bid on them without having to search around.
There are five key criteria for evaluation - price, quality, communication, timeliness, and professionalism. Each of these categories impact your overall rating which is visible on your profile.
As soon as you mark a job completed, the property owner will be notified and they can submit payment using our app. Once that's done your money is immediately deposited into your bank account.
With Doorward, you'll be able to find and manage your work all in one place. Your current jobs will be listed in your account so you can see what's active and keep a log of your completed jobs. For future jobs that haven't started yet, you will receive notifications when they become available so there's no need for scrolling through old posts or reaching out to clients for an update - it's a time saver.
RENTERS
Doorward uses Stripe and Plaid to process your rent payments. They are leaders in security and data protection. You can choose to set up automatic payments or simply pay rent with the click o a button from anywhere.
By logging in to your account using your email address and password, you will be able to access your account details. You will also have the option to modify your delivery addresses stored against your account but unfortunately, we aren't able to change the delivery address on an active order, so please ensure you select the right details.
With Doorward, you can submit maintenance requests in a few simple clicks. The request will get sent straight to your landlord for speedy resolution.
